PACKING LIST
What to Bring:
- 4 weather-appropriate and church-appropriate outfits (1" shoulder straps, no midriffs visible, at least mid-thigh length shorts, males or females)
- Underclothes and socks
- Shoes: spare shoes, shower shoes, closed-toe shoes for rec
- Pajamas
- Swimsuit (tankini or 1 piece)
- Bath and swim towel(s)
- Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)
- Laundry bag
- Sleeping bag/ twin sheets & blankets, pillow
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Bug Spray
- Sunscreen
- Flashlight
- Bible
- Journal and Pen
- Disposable camera(s)

What NOT to Bring:
- Electronics (including phones)
- Vapes/Drugs/Alcohol (all will be confiscated and discarded)
- Excessive amounts of cash ($20 should be sufficient for snack shop)
- Expensive or Valuable items/clothing
- Weapons or Fireworks
- Silly String, Water Balloons, or other items intended for pranks
*Pranks are NOT tolerated by Fairmount Camp*

Authorized Adults to Pick Up my Child

If you do not plan on picking your child up from camp or if they are not riding home with their youth pastor / leaders, please list the adults who have your permission to pick up your child(ren). 

They will be asked to show photo ID at the camp office upon arrival. We WILL NOT release your child(ren) to anyone who is not listed or does not have photo ID - no exceptions.

Off-Site Activity Permission and Release of Liability

I acknowledge that Fairmount Camp may conduct activities and events at locations away from the main camp property (“off-site activities”). By checking the box below, I authorize my child to participate in these supervised off-site activities. I understand and agree that:


• Camp staff will supervise participants during all off-site trips.
• Transportation will be provided by the camp or by a transportation provider authorized by the camp.
• Off-site activities may include, but are not limited to, field trips, adventure courses, swimming activities, and other program-related events.
• Participation in off-site activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks associated with travel, outdoor environments, physical activity, and interaction with natural or man-made hazards.


By granting permission, I voluntarily assume all inherent and ordinary risks associated with my child’s participation in off-site activities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and hold harmless Fairmount Camp, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in these activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Media Privacy

We recognize the importance of privacy and safety for foster children. Out of care and respect for each child's story, we will not post identifiable, head-on photos of foster children during the duration of camp. Our goal is to create a fun, secure environment where every child is protected and valued. 
Grant Assessment Information

In order to receive grant funding for future programming, we need access to some valuable information for the kids that attend our camps. If you would be willing, please fill out the following information regarding your household. None of these questions are required and ALL information will be kept confidential and will not be sent to any other camps or agencies.

Payment

This camp is completely FREE for all foster care campers. We have been intentional about removing financial barriers so this experience can be a true blessing to foster children, families, and caregivers. If you feel led to give a donation to support the camp, it is greatly appreciated - but not expected or required. You may donate here.
